REMO Emperor's bold, two-layer Mylar films produce a voluminous and warm tone with strong projection. Due to their construction, they are particularly stable and durable. In the 1950s, the rock 'n' roll came and with the first Remo skins could be played as loudly as never before. But the development continued, guitar amps grew bigger and drummers inside wanted to play even harder and even louder. It was time for the next innovation and so the Californian innovators constructed the first double-layered drum head. Remo Emperor skins are ideal for medium to loud playing styles live and in the studio. They go particularly well with musical styles such as pop, funk, rock and heavy rock, and are among the best marching drum heads in the world.
